Is Anything Worth Saying Anymore?

I'm making this post because it just feels like there's no need to speak about things anymore. Nothing seems to get accomplished anyways so what's the point of doing so. Most arguments are nothing but emotionally charged with controversy and "blah blah blah it doesn't matter what you think" on both sides. No one seems to listen to each others arguments much anymore. I'm not referring to ThinkAtheist but I'm referring to many of the arguments I see on Youtube which is the social media I use the…See More

Why are you here?
I'm a former member who was here for about 2 months and left for no reason. I regretted leaving behind this wonderful community because it's truly a great place to be for me.
The religion you left
Christian
Why you left your religion.
Basically I wasn't very religious to begin with. I lost faith completely around 14-15 years old. I may not know if there is a god, and I can be completely wrong, but I'm willing to take a stand against religion in a firm manner. I believe it is a man-made disguise to pressure unnecessary conformity and boundaries between us as human beings. Most of the world may not see it that way, but I do...

Friendship is never an obligation. It is a privilege. An honor worked for, earned and kept close to heart. If you ever need someone to listen without comment I will listen. If you ask advice I might give it. But do just one thing- love yourself. Sorry two things. LIVELOVELAUGH!

Ari, when kids grow up in violent homes, their behavior doesn't always comply with either logic or morality. I didn't mess up anyone's home; I stole a paperback book. My two brothers also briefly engaged in petty crime. None of us got caught and we all gave up crime.

When North Korea invaded South Korea, the U.S. government sent me to fight in the resulting war. The GI Bill made college possible and may have saved me from a life of crime.
