I'm making this post because it just feels like there's no need to speak about things anymore. Nothing seems to get accomplished anyways so what's the point of doing so. Most arguments are nothing…Continue

Why Depression?

I couldn't tell you how much of my life I've spent afraid, lonely, hopeless, numb, disconnected, and miserable. I've started college in August 27th and already in the beginning of the second week, depression hit me in the stomach. It began because today I was 15 minutes late for class, forgot to do an assignment for that class, and felt terrible for the rest of the day. I looked up at the clouds just wishing that I could float away into outer-space off this planet. Why was I even born? I feel…See More

Ari replied to Charles J Hunsinger's discussion 'What is the value of Atheism to humanity?'
"Yes, atheism itself is the rejection of the belief in any gods. Although, a characteristic of most people who are atheists are that they are agnostic atheists. We don't know that a god exists and that's why we are agnostic and at the same…"

The Crisp Sounds Of Reality

Life for so many people by default is living in a fairytale. They were raised to believe in majestic, almighty deities or spirits that will help guide them through life and the afterlife. They don't need proof of their existence to believe in them. I don't blame them all that much. Why do people believe in God? Simply put is because they want to. It's hard to live in an ugly, corrupt world where people take advantage of each other and find justification by reaching out to their own gods and…See More

Why you left your religion.
Basically I wasn't very religious to begin with. I lost faith completely around 14-15 years old. I may not know if there is a god, and I can be completely wrong, but I'm willing to take a stand against religion in a firm manner. I believe it is a man-made disguise to pressure unnecessary conformity and boundaries between us as human beings. Most of the world may not see it that way, but I do...

Well I really think this film will be for you then. The film is quite open but it doesn't let any religious bs sway it. I'll send you a link to it when it's done. Which should be just a couple months from now.

Ari, when kids grow up in violent homes, their behavior doesn't always comply with either logic or morality. I didn't mess up anyone's home; I stole a paperback book. My two brothers also briefly engaged in petty crime. None of us got caught and we all gave up crime.

When North Korea invaded South Korea, the U.S. government sent me to fight in the resulting war. The GI Bill made college possible and may have saved me from a life of crime.
