Why am I here ? A bit existential...
Mainly to share ideas and maybe a bit of humour.
The religion you left
Was never a part of one
Why you left your religion.
It seemed the more I read and the more I learnt,the less chance religion had of stand up to any scrutiny.
I think it was at a christening for my Niece where I was god-father that I realised once and for all that religion made no sense to me.
Having to stand there and recite the words given,I listened to what was being said and thought "nonsense". I mumbled my way through the ceremony,embarrassed by the charade.
