I'm 18, finished with High School, and I am starting College soon.
I characterize myself as pert, droll, arch, roguish, and intelligent.
I advocate Secular Humanism, Socialism, Vegetarianism, Egalitarianism.
If you are offended easily and/or act pugnacious, we won't get along.
I am generally very honest and direct with people, if not overly forward.
I listen to all genres of music, as long as the music is good.
I read and write a lot. I read psychology and realist-fiction the most.
I don't entertain myself with purely romance based material.
I watch movies often. If the movie is good, I have probably seen it.
I am always scatterbrained, thinking of many things at once.
I try not to make judgement upon anything without knowing both sides.
I don't judge negatively upon appearance often.
Engage me whenever, i'm always up for good conversation.

The religion you left

Why you left your religion.
I was raised Catholic until around the age of 12, that's the year my mom gave up on trying to force her religion on me. After that I was an Agnostic for 6 years or so, then I experimented with Deism, and now I am an Atheist. Every religion just seems odd to me, I use logic to determine what I believe in, not faith. The concept of believing in a contradictory storybook has always seemed silly to me so I spent my time in the Christian community messing with priests, playing pranks on Nun's, and trying to plant seeds of doubt in my fellow piers -- fun stuff. Theres a hundred more reasons why I rejected Christianity, and all religion for that matter, but it would take me more time typing than I care to invest haha.

My whole life I have been affected differently by hope, faith, and belief. I grew

up being indoctrinated with the values of Christianity and Catholicism. My

parents divorced when I was around 4 years old. My dad got weekend custody of

my sister and I. My dad was a Christian and my mom was a Catholic (I have no

idea what religious beliefs they hold now), neither of them would explain the
