I am a deconverted, negative (small a) atheist who feels the evidence points to the theory that there is no supernatural. The more I read, the more I listen, the more I learn - the more convinced I am of this position. I would never say I know for sure there is no God - but I'm reasonably convinced.
Why are you here?
My whole family, to include my husband, is evangelical Christian. I'm looking for a community of people who think like me.
The religion you left
Why you left your religion.
I started out as an atheist as a teen, converted at 20 to Christianity, struggled with doubt for ten years, read several books addressing doubt but remained unconvinced. I finally read The God Delusion, Why I Am Not a Christian and God is Not Great - and it made more sense to me. I officially deconverted at 31.
