Comment by Warren E Jappe on April 14, 2013 at 11:31am Celebrating Christmas for the good things it is is one thing, but pretending it has some religious meaning I find unsettling. As a kid we had a Christmas tree and lots of gifts. I remember we had a great time. I remember back then trying to watch TV (in vain) and see these people doing these religious ceremonies (briefly before changing the channel or turning it off) and wonder what the hell are these people doing? Then later in life learning that Christmas was hijacked by the religious. To me they are just as bad or worse than the commercialization of Christmas.
