This is not nice. There are plenty of republicans that agree with evolution (although they are few and far between). Although, this did give me a slight giggle, I will give you that.

Blame the media because they don't show the sane, science supporting, live and
let live Republicans that are still the norm.  Instead they look for the oddest,
sound bite nonsense talking ones and in doing so are making many once proud
Republicans change political affiliation to either Independent, decline to state
or in some cases Libertarian. 

 

Good grief the old Republican party supported education at all levels, built the interstate highway system, encouraged financial responsibility and believed in minding ones own business when it came to  what people did with their body or what they did in the privacy of their homes with
another adult. 

Now the media likes the sound bite that will shock or catch your attention and its not my parents Republican party the media wants you to see/hear.

If Republicans wanted to be taken seriously, they wouldn't have scraped the bottom of the barrel for presidential candidates.
