A few other species practice bisexuality too, so I would say it is pretty natural.

I curious, when a "bi sexual" person is having same sex are they still "bi sexual?" I though having same sex is called "homosexuality." And when they are having sex with the opposite sex, are they have stopped practicing homosexuality?  How does that work?

I truly find it hard, in this day and age, that we are still talking about this. Who gives a shite!! If you don't like it, don't do it - Come to Australia, we have just had Mardi Gras - 9,000 near naked bodies - out and proud and it is really UUUBBBAAAA fun - parents walk with their childen, police march, footballers march, transvestites, who have taken twelve months to prepare the most fabulous costumes - Gays from all over the world come to see it and march in it and make floats - who cares if it is a belief system - which is absolute codswallop, but that is another story - who cares why? Let's support the kids who can't come out, as Gay or Atheist, in school or at home.

If people want to get married - stay out of it - what happened to the land of the free - if you don't want to be gay, don't be, if you want to get married, get married, if you don't want to get married, then don't. Get the priorities straight. Of all the problems in the world, and in America - you could well have Santorum or Romney going against Obama - now that is really scary shite.

Personally, I find the notion of sex with someone of my own gender kind of creepy.  But so what! To each his own.  What sexual practices other people enjoy is none of my concern.  They are not hurting me, so why should I want to interfere with their choices, which are doing no harm to anyone?  These people have just as much right to marriage and other benefits of civilized society as anyone else.  Mormons would disagree with me, of course.  Frankly, their customs and practices I find even more creepy than homosexuality, but - again - so what?    Catholic priests would disagree with me also; but who are THEY to cast stones?

My best friend in adolescence and early adulthood was bi-sexual, and she said that she had to act "straight" among her heterosexual friends, and act like a lesbian among her homosexual friends or risk being rejected.

Homosexuality is an aberration that exists in more than 450 species. Yes I used the word aberration. That doesn't mean we should deny rights to gay people with regards to marriage etc. Nor does it excuse homophobia. However I will not lie just to be politically correct and inoffensive. We should all harden the f up. Here is another case of science over culture/social memes.
Burn me in flames if you must, but I have science to back up everything I say.
