But this raises the point about this site's logo. I've never been very impressed with the man and woman atop sticks. Nothing about it speaks "Atheist". Can't we get something conceptually and visually memorable?

A month or 2 ago, I saw the crescent moon with Venus so close to it, it seemed within the moon's sphere. I must admit, the Islamic imagery seemed transcendent for a second or 2.

i HAD THE SAME KIND OF FEELING TOO. I am a militant atheist and by no means would like to betray my great acheivment in whole my life (Getting rid if Islam and becoming an atheist). Considering your point I will be OK with just letter "A" in red color.

You what? How about getting rid of crescent and just keeping the letters A and T to have "AT". I think this artist wanted to have all the letters of Atheism to be derived from symbol but as Atheist Exile mentioned Crescent is sign used by Muslims. I will see if I can do this task using some picture editors.
