Wut ...

Is this legal ? I've seen a lot of "God hates fags" pictures ; does the american police do something ?

They usually have all their permits in order for their protests, so under the constitution they are allowed to do this without being arrested as long as they stay on public property or a certain distance from things like schools etc. I wish they could be tried for hate crimes though, not sure why they haven't been already.

That is child abuse.

Little Johnny, my my, you're gonna make your Mommy & Daddy proud. Indoctrination is a very dangerous thing.

Liberty of speech is important , but they have to understand that homophobia isn’t an opinion , it’s a crime.

I can’t believe this isn’t considered like a public display of hate !

And what about that :  Death penalty 4 fags

Please tell me it’s not legal to say that in America :o

@Nicolas, if the problem is that the hateful message is dangerous or harmful, should it also be against the law to post the picture here on TA? I feel it's better to let those idiots expose themselves, and we can help expose them, too. Another example: I think that saying Obama isn't American is also hate speech. But I'd rather let the idiots speak out than make them hide their hate. At least we can know who they are, and make fun of them.

What bothers me (like @Ron) more is what adults are doing to their kid.

The adults in my life tried their darndest to make me a catholic, but I knew by the time I was six that I wasn't.

@Pope Beanie

I’m also worried about the kids , but what can we do ? Who are we to criticize how parents raise their kids ?

But about hateful messages, maybe I’m overreacting .I’m just not used to such displays of religion.

The more I stay on this website , the more I learn how different atheist’s experiences are different depending the country.

Seems like being an atheist is way easier in France (and in most of europeans contries) than in USA :/
