I do not understand how those knives are holding up that bottle. That shouldn't be happening...
I just did it in my kitchen. Note the placement of the knives, over and under each other.
I to have peer reviewed the evidence. It can work with Heineken bottles too.
Ah... It only looked like one was touching any other knife in the picture.
Maybe it takes three Heineken's before this can be accomplished? Could be a missing/obvious variable.
I'd say in the name of science this calls for massive empirical research, does it also work with empty bottles? - I know logic says yes, but by the scientific method I don't want to prejudge the experimental result
So cool! I'd try it myself, except that I don't have three butter knives. I do have 3 forks that I could probably make work, but I don't drink, so I have no beer bottles. I'll think of something.
With enough beer, I am not attempting to do physics experiments, unless it is fluid dynamics...LOL
Is the fourth fork in motion? The toothpick can't be holding it at an angle.
