Dear Folks:

I am deeply amazed when this happens to me or around me

During a debate early 80's, I over heard the local park block evangelist condemning a dear fellow who was mentioning a minor issue concerning a point in biology. The first thing out of the evangelist's mouth was, 'you could go to hell for that question'.

I raised my hand, 'Jack, don't you think that this fellow is using his mind that god gave him? If he does not use his mind, would he be even more sinful and disrespectful of god's gift?'

Jack, the evangelist, became very quiet, and figeted on his little soap box, under the trees, on a fall day. By his silence it appeared that I won.

The next day, Jack reappeared, I was present, but kept my mouth full of bad cafeteria tuna fish.
