On the odd occasion that I've been asked to give grace I've said, in varying ways, Thank you lord for this wonderful food [random biblical bullshit here] instead of those starving Africans [drowning Indonesians/dying Haitians/any needy cause in vogue].

Unsurprisingly I never get asked twice. Mostly I don't get invited back. Sometimes I offer to say grace just to infuriate the loons.
