Kirkman puts a lot of religious characters in his book. He loves slapping them around. Oddly enough the Fr. Stokes character in this scene is still alive (I think) in the comic and has never had to kill anyone. He's a lot like the "T-Dog" character that appeared on TV but was never in the comic: neither character ever really did much. I wish Kirkman had killed him off instead of Glenn.
