The Irish Prime Minister has just been threatened with excommunication from the Catholic Church if he passes new abortion legislation in Ireland. His response-

We are winning. I am certain that the majority of those born since 2000 will be Atheists. I hardly know anybody that bothers with the Catholic Church anymore.

It seems you're right, Reg. Last year WIN-Gallup International found Ireland religiosity in Ireland dropped from 69% in 2005 to 47% in 2012. Meanwhile the Irish who consider themselves 'not religious' increased from 25% in 2005 to 44% in 2012. The same poll found 10% of Ireland now consider themselves atheists up from 4% in 2005.  Source

Never mind the kiddie fucking and cover-up. It must hurt Mr Kenny to be excommunicated out of a club of sexually frustrated old men in robes and pointy hats.

The fact that women who find they have an unwanted pregnancy go to the UK -

And the Prime Minister knows this. The biggest reason for the demise of the catholic church in Ireland is the rampant pedophilia in that country, and the organized and efficient covering up, and moving of priests by the hierarchy.

As it said in the video, this was one of the staunchest (brainwashed, my word) countries steeped in catholicism. It was part of their DNA, it was community, and that all fell apart when the amount of rampant pedophilia was exposed.

Ireland doesn't have a representative at the Vatican, and that is big deal to the Vatican. The right wing conservative party want an Irish representative at the Vatican, but the Irish Prime Minister Enda Kenny, said, "Ain't going to happen', or words to that effect.
