I am in awe... Did the woman take the letter in, ask for a supervisor, complain, and sue for harassment??? That is just plain ridiculous!!

This is SO not okay! What the fucking hell is wrong with people!? I would seriously sue this guy and the DMV. Who the hell butts their nose into someone's life like that - much less utilizes confidential information that should only be utilized in the process of providing any necessary services! If this was me, I would have freaking busted up in that office and demanded to speak to "Thomas" and then get his manager/supervisor whatever and then call the police on his ass to file a complaint. So wrong! >:(

what the hell is it that gives these nut jobs such a strong conviction to give you their opinions on a person that they don't even know!?

were the hell does this guy get the balls to write a letter to someone seeking a public service about their sexual orientation!?

The guy should have lost his job for that. He took her address from on record and sent her a letter. That's stepping outside the boundaries of his job. What the fuck kind of logic would pass over a person to assume 'This person needs my approval to feel comfortable with their decision; they care GREATLY about whether I approve or not.' They DON'T.

By the way, if he's taking the quote from Jesus about 'do not make any cuttings in one's flesh' to mean 'you can't have a gender reassignment surgery', he should also realize that that, taken out of such context, would prevent ANY surgeries at all that require cutting oneself open, like an angioplasty if the fucker has a heart attack.
