"Entertainment complex system in the middle of a sewage system" - Epic.

A few more things come to mind:

Panda's thumb

Why so many types of beetles?

Why so many types of parasites?

Why no decent UV/IR vision for humans?

Why can't I have my cake and eat it to?

Why is intelligence optional, and stupidity/ignorance manditory?

Why can't we change our minds more easily?

There are, of course, many examples of stupidity in the design of human beings.  We could all come up with some of our own, I’m sure.  Here’s one that might not have occurred to you: why do we humans have a “blind spot” almost dead center in our vision?  The process of evolution provides a completely cogent explanation for this “flaw.”  And since creationists are wont to use the eye as such a great example of “intelligent design,” why do they believe that God gave us myopia, hyperopia, cataracts, amblyopia, color blindness, floaters, flashes, spots, photophobia, nystagmus, stabismus, macular degeneration, glaucoma, macular dystrophy, retinitis pigmentosa, and astigmatism, all of which are all or in part due to how are eyes were “designed”?

Why did God cover our photoreceptor cells with layers of tissue that cause our vision to be less distinct than that of some other creatures, like the octopus?  In other words, why did God design the vision of the octopus eye and those of some other creatures to be so much sharper than ours.  Is it because He favors octopi over humans?  Perhaps it’s the octopus, rather than humans that God created in His image in the Garden of Eden.  Instead of the white-whiskered old man in a white robe and carrying a long staff is not the correct representation of God in Heaven; perhaps it should be, instead, an 8-legged blob.

Sex. Really, there has to be a more sensible way than the dance humans and other creatures go through to produce copies of ourselves.

Dear Dale:

The 8 legged blob harkens back to HP Lovecraft!

Thanks for sharing this, I love these stabs at what's not so intelligent in intelligent design.

I guess when I think about it, if it is so badly made, why does it work at all? Nature focused on 'good enough'?

Lots of badly made stuff works to a degree.

This article claims that female attendance at a certain atheist conference is down due to sexual harrassment. Of course it's making the rounds of religion-oriented websites. The comments are very entertaining.
