Taxes on religion, whooooeeeee, wouldn't that be nice. Then America could afford even more war machines. I realize that many atheists would not like that, but Xians would.  <sigh>  So let them be the cannon fodder.

Just thinking....

Hey, if the military went back to refusing atheists, then Christians could do all those war horror moves, and there certainly are plenty willing to die for Gog and country--so maybe we should let them do so.  Jazuuus man, that's a plan! They get to feel like I did in the sixties. I was an open atheist and got in a fight at least once a week. Their turn!

Why does Goggle send me ads about bible study or Xian websites? Not a chance of me clicking on them so does it have an evangelical motive? I mean it Google ads were that smart they would try to hit me with Science and Atheism ads instead?

Reg - because Google bots take note that you visit sites that deal with religion, either pro or con, and it plants a "cookie" in your browser's cookie folder that tells Google, when you access it, to put ads on the page that relate to your previous history, but it doesn't have the ability to discern pro or con, only theology in general.

You can delete that cookie, just by going to your browser's preferences, scrolling through the list, and deleting anything referencing Google (this would be a good time to delete all those porn site cookies as well), but the next time you access a theological site, they'll just deposit another one.

Don't select, "Delete All Cookies," as some of them contain your stored passwords.

Yes, I know Arch, it was a rhetorical question – I should have made that clearer. I have written my own script to keep my pc clean The point still stands though because they cannot discern the difference. It is like sending me ads for apples when I search for oranges.

They would only recognize the category, "fruit".

When Google does finally have all the answers, maybe they'll change the url to "http://www.God.com".
