It's a human rights issue. Does not matter what country you happen to be born in or which religion is forced upon you. The countries that deny women their human rights are full of weak men.

You can grammatically do so if you phrase it as a contradiction, e.g., "There is no science in Islam"

Anything else would get you a visit from the Grammar Nazis.

You know, for a few hundred years the Muslim world was the most scientifically-advanced society on Earth, much of their knowledge being pooled from their contact with Greek and Indian scholars, though they made many advances of their own.

   About 5 minutes Tyson talks about the intellectual centre of the world being Bagdad.
So does the step backwards in scientific thought count as Devolution?
