Are you saying, arch, that trying the image made your computer crash? What kind and what OS are you running?
I feel his pain!
If you didn't know, Arch, you can hold CTRL and scroll with a mouse wheel or do the same with + or - to zoom in and out in Windows, too. Just in case those old, fossilized eyes of yours are having trouble.
I went to the trouble of clicking "View Full Size; then I got out my big magnifying glass; then I squinted a lot. Finally, I could read it, and it turned out to be worth the effort. Right on point!
Christianity is 1 + 1 = 3. Islam is 1 + 1 = 4. All equal glimpses of the untrue.
Well, arch, it's nice to know what can't be done with a mac. Here's what I don't like about macs: 1) they are artificially expensive (built in the same FoxCon factory as HP's, Toshibas, Dells and other Windows machines; 2) the way so many fans (perhaps not you) absolutely MUST have the latest model even if their current phone or pad or computer just because it's new and not because it will do what needs to be done any better; 3) foisting features on their fans in beta test form (e.g., Siri and their new mapping app).
Oh, and let's not forget "You're holding your iPhone wrong."
One thing PC users can do that Mac users can't.
You're behind the times. My three Windows machines generally only are rebooted after installing updates or new software or when I go someplace with my laptop, but even then I generally put it into hibernation rather than switching it off. Firewalls constantly asking me to approve installing .dll's and things like that are a far bigger annoyance.
Possibly bigger than him, but not bigger than the $15,000 price tag on a mac pro, many of the components of which are outdated. For instance, the xeon processors, the AMD 5770 (although apple seems not to have realised that AMD absorbed ATI because they still call the cards ATI cards), and the 1333MHz ram. By the way, apple definitely knows how to price things high, upgrading the ram on the mac pro to 64gb costs $1950, and it is only 1333MHz ram, whereas I can buy 64gb of 1600MHz ram for $1480 less here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820239276 plus that ram doesn't take up all eight slots on the motherboard.
