I understand your point, but....

Too many nasty "Grammar Cops" on forums of all types.

Many (most) times I won't reply, or post unless absolutely sure everything is perfect.

People would shred rather shred somebody's post due to grammatical errors than its substance. A sorry lot of "Evangelical English" purists.

That's not the point, UnTarded. One comes off as less intelligent when they have no regard for grammar/spelling/punctuation. This isn't saying you're an idiot for typos.

I just read the post "All Atheists are Ignorant", and there were so many grammar and spelling mistakes it made the post difficult to read, that and the fact that what he was trying to convey was just really silly!  What I find frustrating is that often when people make spelling/grammar mistakes it is when they are trying to outsmart someone else, but just end up looking foolish.
