It's a perfect time to introduce Dungeons and Dragons to that household. D&D freaked out my parents even more than my Doctor Strange comic books. Those were the good ol' days.

On the other hand, Pokeman was invented by the Japanese, in an effort to sell more Pokemon games and cards, and when you get them all, they invent more, and you gotta admit, there's something a little devilish about that --

I think one of the things that made pokemon so appealing to kids is that one leaves home at 10 to become a pokemon master, no parents, no school, just exploring and adorable pet collecting.
