Pokemon is full of violence, slavery and abuse. I think she is getting confused with the bible.

Comment by Keith Pinster on September 1, 2012 at 11:48pm I love this. This is a perfect example of someone trying to force their delusional superstition down their own child's throat and, as a result, teaching that child how ludicrous and simple minded believing in such crazy fairy tales can make you.

Comment by Jason McKinley on December 22, 2012 at 4:33pm Although I think this is an atheist trolling on yahoo answers I think it is brilliant and funny. I have never seen anything to this extreme but I have seen chistains in my area forbid happy potter and my grandmothers preacher forbid anything to do with halloween because it has to do with witchcraft.
Comment by Grady Jean on December 22, 2012 at 5:37pm I knew a guy in Junior high whose parents had convinced him that Math, Pokemon, and the Free Masons were evil satanic plots.
Comment by Strega on December 22, 2012 at 5:48pm The Freemasons aren't evil Satanic plots? I thought they were! Where's my Google?
Comment by Diane on December 22, 2012 at 7:44pm My daughters had to endure a fundamentalist, abusive step-mother at their father's house. I did not know what really went on until years later. One thing that happened was my younger daughter used to wear all her Harry Potter paraphernalia special for her dear stepmother when she went there, I don't know how she got away with it, but it was a silent protest amid the insanity. I am so proud of her! (I am proud of them both.)
Comment by Amanda Mrakovich on December 22, 2012 at 10:36pm I remember that my parents did not want me to play Pokemon because it involved evolution but since I didn't want them to take it away from him I convinced them it was more of a metamorphosis and when questioned if I believed in evolution I said that I did not. Which at the time was true since I was home schooled.
