I quess I am concerned, mildly, with the possibility that scientists will become the new priest class. While the scientists could claim that they should be the arbitures of truth, and peir review as the new vatican, I feel no desire to worship at the site of CERN. If they just keep writing very good papers, exposing nature's nikkers, and offering us all another insight, I will be very pleased.

As long as they offer their research to peer review and rigorous testing, then there is no reason to think that they would become a priest class.
