Yeah, I was loving the run-up to Doomsday. Anytime someone said "Those people are so crazy for believing that." I said, "I know right?! Why would they ever think that there is some all powerful sentient being who cares about the dealings of some smart apes?" They had no idea how to react.

Moderates are just as bad as fundamentalists, in my opinion. In fact, I have more respect for fundamentalists than moderates, because at least the fundies have the courage of their convictions. Moderates are so picky and choosy with what they believe about the Christian god, and never stand up to the fundies when they're spouting off hateful things about homosexuals, which is why I have absolutely no respect for moderates. In fact, I thoroughly dislike them.

That's not to say I like fundies any more than I like moderates. I just have a little bit more respect for the fundies. Overall, both camps are pretty fucking stupid, in my opinion.
