This just shows that atheist can be just as dumb as Christians. This proves absolutely nothing. If someone made up a beautiful quote about the universe then credited to Carl Sagan, I would thumbs it up assuming they were telling the truth.

This is not a valid analogy. You don't worship Carl Sagan and have all his supposed "word" packaged into one book that is supposed "good", yet fail to read that book. The whole point is that most Christians don't know their book well enough to spot (in many cases blatantly obvious) fake passages.

First of all this is not an analogy, it is an observation of language and all who use it in disrespect and misrepresentation, which is almost everyone with an axe to grind, to wit, jews, gentiles, and muslims.  Last time I checked no one worshipped Carl Sagan nor had they raised him to the deity status that would warrant abuse of his language.  WE've read all his books and we don't run around quoting him, for Christ's sake.  THe whole point is that most Christians know less than atheists, and the only thing atheist knowledge is good for is satire.  Get used to it Dave.  It's real now.

And Yeah Verily didst the angel of death take the first born sons of the Egyptian sinners who heeded not the warning to use the blood of the pascal lamb, it's meat being fragrant in a stew madeth with curry and onion, and these first born, after a fine respite of disco and drink, where slaughtered in the ritual manner and added to the goat stew so as to season it righteously in the manner which god had commandeth, saying, eat healthy fats that have been fed healthy grains only, lest your arteries clog and thy would then stroketh out.
