In full context:  11:4 Any many who prays or prophesies with something on this head disgraces his head, 11:5 but any woman who prays or prophesies with her head unveiled disgraces her head--it is one and the same thing has having her head shaved. 11:6 For if a woman will not veil herself, then she should cut off her hair; but if it is disgraceful for a woman to have her hair cut off or to be shaved, she should wear a veil.

Not just sexist but really strange fricking "reasoning."

Oh and hell, right before this:  11:3  But I want you to understand that Christ is the head of every man, and the husband is the head of his wife, and God is the head of Christ. [again, NRSV]

Clearly Paul is speaking out against the henpecked.  Even more interestingly he treats "God" and "Christ" as separate things.  Hmmm.  Adding more evidence (as if any were needed) that the Trinity was a somewhat later evolution of theology.
