Isn't he just fabulous? Sadly his term comes to an end next year and the rules don't allow him to stand for election again. Rotten shame in his case :)

One of the few REAL men in the world.
After his term in office he needs to visit the U.S. and do a tour of speaking engagements. His philosophy of life is sorely needed here.
The question is: Would it do any good? There are too many people in positions of authority that don't listen except to other authoritarian figures and big contributors, those that give nice jobs, etc. The common folk, at least some might listen, but I don't think that will go very far.
So what is it like in Uruguay? I'll have to check that out.
How do atheists go about nominating someone for canonization?
Sure as hell couldn't hurt....
