This has always been one of the most irritating things about religion to me. "Oh I am SO blessed." What the fuck makes you think you're so "worthy" and everyone else isn't? The families who have children dying of cancer aren't "blessed", but you got that promotion so clearly God favours you. FUCK OFF.

soooooo damn true. and then when you call them on it, they either say "that's caused by people, not god" or "we can't pretend to understand god's great plan". It's utter stupidity.
