What's NSFW about this?

@kOrsan The image of a mutilated woman?

Comment by Cesar Deicide on June 6, 2012 at 10:44pm

That's horrible, she is unrecognizable. To think that one human been could do that to another.

Don't be an uppity woman in Pakistan, I guess.

Why I cannot understand how women can live / tolerate any religious community. I cannot understand how stupid / mentally diseased / insecure they must be to accept it. Very rarely does any religion benefit any woman. Even the Dalai Lama was held to task for how female monks were treated.

What's NSFW about this?  Perhaps it's just the fact that you might break something in anger at what has happened to this poor woman.

She was beautiful :(
The one who did this to her was indeed a monster! why they do these kinds of crimes in pakistan? I can't understand?
In Afghanistan they cut off the nose and ears ... etc .. Horrible!

Here's another photo of her - quite an extraordinary woman, I'd say.  Her back story is with that photo.  Horrible crimes, with justice - i.e., retribution - hardly ever done.

Our outrage about this, oddly, somehow does not compute in view of the hundreds of thousands of school children in Europe that we incinerated about 65 years ago, during the second world war.  Nor the disfigurement and worse of the Vietnamese civilians in the 60s.  Etc.
