The reverse is most assuredly not true.  There are a godzillion questions for which we once had a religious answer, for which we now have a more comprehensive scientific answer.

Put this side by side with the utter lack of scientific answers replaced by religious ones and there is a big king-kong-sized, as-obvious-as-a-volcanic-eruption-seen-from-inside-the-caldera conclusion to be drawn here.  I don't think I have to spell it out to anyone *here*.

we used to treat climate as a scientific subject, and global warming as a measured effect.

The myth that there is a controversy has since gained considerable traction.

Science once said that testicles could be implanted in humans to gain greater energy. Religeon has never said anything negative nor positive about testicle implants. So technically the religious argument is better, as its very unlikely testicle implants will give one more energy, but one simply never knows. But ... now that I think about it ... I guess that's what modern science also says. But then one loses out on all the fun of guessing if you go to heaven with that third testicle or not.
