I'm going to try this - but only where there is suitable running room, and in a jurisdiction with handgun controls in place (not that the average person can hit the planet they are standing on with a handgun!)
@Boatman - that leaves out TN. And, yes, these rednecks can hit their target. TN even has a law specifically allowing guns in bars.
And when they say "It's a cross", reply; "across from what?". Ah, Arrested Development.

Never discount the possibility that they will believe you are asking a serious question and consider you to be innocently ignorant and ripe for conversion. (Another reason to give yourself suitable running room)
Do we really need to 'improve' our skills to 'infuriate'?
This last Sunday, my significant's church minister was replaced by a much older man. I noticed that the cross around his neck was about as big as a good sized pork steak, but I always hold back under these conditions for fear that my sarcasm skills will be no match for a rather loud ex-communication.
This is great! :)
