I'm in agreement with Lauruhhpalooza 100%. If Jesus were legit and I could interview him, I believe one of my questions would be "Just what gives you the RIGHT to forgive sins that have not been committed against you?!"

The law may acquit, politicians may pardon, priests may absolve, but no one can forgive except (s)he who was transgressed against! Lauruhhpalooza, if she were so inclined, could forgive her own attacker, but nobody else can do that. She is the only person on Earth with the power to forgive him and I find it incredibly insulting that some retarded book of crap has the nerve to say some man in the sky is allowed to forgive any and every "sin" committed against anyone! HOW RUDE!

I guess BTK & Son of Sam are Heavenbound as well. Of course all those absolved Crusaders & Inquisitors have already brought down the property value on Cloud 9. Heaven will be skid row in the sky by the time Gabrial finally toots his horn! Somebody's probably tagged the pearly gates by now! I say to hell with heaven.

My grandparents' church helped the I-5 serial killer get out of prison because the puke had claimed to have accepted JC. I remember arguing with my grandfather about this & he replied that the man's victims were "only bar-flies" & had it coming. This man later raped a teen-aged girl, cut off her hands & left her for dead. She survived & the SOB went back to prison. My grandparents acted as if nothing had happened. I'll never forget it though.

Even worse, any branch of Christianity that descends from Luther or Wesley teaches that salvation comes from FAITH ALONE. That is, although people of faith are expected to behave themselves, their actual deeds are irrelevant. It is their acceptance of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior that is the ticket to heaven. So, the murdering rapist in the cartoon could also have been a believing Christian at the time he committed the crime and still been sent to heaven after death. Faith is the ultimate Mulligan.

once again proves that if I did believe in a higher being, I certainly wouldn't put my faith in them.
