They read the bible what doesn't say and say what doesn't say.
Comment by Rob Klaers on July 25, 2012 at 4:11pm Wow.. what a way to rationalize things.
Comment by Dustin on July 25, 2012 at 5:25pm But what if Titus was lying about God not being able to tell a lie. That would mean the entire bible has contradictions in it. Hmmm.

Comment by Karen Lollis on July 25, 2012 at 8:11pm Dude. Seriously out-orwelled Orwell in the doublethink department.
Comment by Doug Reardon on July 26, 2012 at 12:19am I'd love to see an interpretation that eliminates all the contradictions.
Comment by Rosemary LYNDALL WEMM on July 26, 2012 at 1:38am So the person believes that their interpretation of the Bible is infallible - and everyone else who disagrees with him is wrong. And every other Christian, Muslim and Jew thinks it is they who are right!
Of course it is a logical fallacy and a gross statistical error to interpret the data after the fact to conform to one's pet theory. The fact that this guy thinks it is perfectly O.K. is testimony to the extreme methods that someone will use to delude themselves into thinking that their preferred or indoctrinated belief system MUST be correct. We are irrational animals when we are listening to emotions.
