NO NO NO ! The sad part is, that this is what is happening, I think the best cure for all Christians is take the lot put them in some place in the middle of no where. Take away all things related to modern technology and let them live truly biblical. That should shock the lot back to reality.

It would not work; they'd simply decide that god helped us/led us to discovering all that stuff for a reason.  There's a not insignificant branch of Xianity that does accept what science teaches us, but thinks god is behind it all; it's god's great plan for the universe that he made just for us.

So the bottom line is> We will find cures for all diseases, physical or mental except for a cure for religious idiocy.

I was homeschooled. We got an electronic book for science one year. It turned out it was Christian science. I had to tell my mom about it and explain I wouldn't learn anything from the pseudoscience in that book. She was really upset when she found out the contents of it. Couldn't believe she spent money on it.

It was called Switched-On Schoolhouse by the way. I should've taken the hint - it was published by "Alpha Omega"

There is a cure for religiosity - its called science. But it has to be pure science and not diluted with dogma, hypocrisy, and of course religion.

I am told that the local power company's employees have a name for people and animals who observed electricty a little TOO closely and got electrocuted:  crispy critters.
