Catholic Apologists reason why god made dinosaurs.
That Catholic Q&A forum is pretty sick imo.
This shit is just vile....
Great Googily Moogily ! Lost for words on this one.
Love the comments! But only delusional people will believe things like " god made dinosaurs to test us." and "jeebus rode on the back of one."
Confusing what-ifs and actuals makes my head hurt. 'Trying to make sense out of non-sense', seems a terrible waste of good brain cells. I think 'god' missed the perfect opportunity for a teaching moment when no manual was included for proper mental hygene.
From my understanding, the dinosaurs died way before anything like a 'human' was available for comment. Why a 'god' would be interested in the primate line is unclear. It would seem like overkill to wipe out most of the dinosaurs, just to teach us a lesson. I can see mortality all around us, even if dinosaur remains were still unknown. My rejection of the 'concept' of god is on logical and experience grounds, being treated as a fool for taking such a position only suggests to me that theists do not understand the concept of 'honesty'! I could make the claim that ET killed the dinosaurs for sport, with about the same level of 'no-evidence' as the theists have for god's involvement. Involving humans in the death of the dinosaurs would violate some degree of causation falt. Covering the planet with dinosaur fossil remains, just to give humans something to look at 60 some millions of years later, suggests to me a god that needs medication.
Suggesting god killed these wonderful creatures for our benefit, only deepens my sense of revulsion for theist drivel. If this is the best they can do, real jobs could be indicated! Stop mis-using your minds theists, study something real, stop making crap up!
It's Loki the Trickster God.
If you can get hold of a copy of Dinosaurs, Myths and Monsters, (BBC 4) 1st shown on BBC 2 about a year ago it may help to explain ...
ENJOY my friend's.
Belief in God as the creator has actually been gaining ground in recent years, if a recent Gallup Poll is to be believed.
If you combine the 46% who accept creationism with the remaining 32% who don't accept creationism but attribute creation to God, and astonishing 78% (more than 3/4 of Americans) believe in God The Creator.
BTW, if you want to comment on this or discuss this further, rather than get sidetracked here, I've opened a discussion in the Pseudoscience, The Paranormal, and Conspiracy Theories Forum.
This feels like the sort of crap you'd tell little kids in sunday school when they're not buying your BS and asking too many questions...the whole thing reads like it's some patronizing assol in a robe talking down to some "apple cheeked little rapscallion with a head full of questions and not a lick of life experience"...dafuq? was I just possessed by my grandfather? O__O
Nothing surprises me anymore. I was talking to an evangelical just recently, and when I mentioned original sin, he got a confused look on his face and said, "Original sin? What's that?"
