yes, it's interesting when christian people can say how awful it must be to be a Muslim woman because they have to were something over their head..but they dont realize that nuns wear about the same thing.

Yes, but in Islam (almost) all women are either forced or pressured to wear the outfit and large numbers of them much worse than depicted here, while Christian women are not, only a special category who voluntarily subject themselves to becoming a nun.

Orthodox Judaism I don't want to talk about. That's just too ugly and depressing.

It is not so much about not allowing women to advertise their beauty, it's about the owner protecting his property, in the Abrahamic tradition a woman is a man's property. The concept of a nun is the same, only here the exception is the property belongs to a non-existing man.

You can see the sexless uniform as a mobile cage.
