I think the bibbles are a great idea, lets face it for many of these poor blighted people toilet paper is in very short supply

Reminds me of the quote by Archbishop Desmond Tutu:

“When the missionaries came to Africa they had the Bible and we had the land. They said "Let us pray." We closed our eyes. When we opened them we had the Bible and they had the land.”

He has some excellent quotes and if I did not know they were his I would have credited them to some witty Atheist. Spend a few minutes here if you like...

I understand that they still burn wood for heat in Haiti (you can tell from satellite imagery, it's quite deforested compared to the Dominican Republic which is on the same island of Hispaniola); perhaps the bible will save a Haitian tree.

Study bibles would be even better as they burn longer.
