burned!! see what i did there?
also if the earth were at a different distance from the sun, evolution would have adapted us to that climate instead.
I wish I had stupid theist friends on facebook...
If we were a little closer or a little further away, there would just different types of stupid to deal with, or a higher/lower frequency of what we have already..LOL
Love it! Added it to my collection.
that dood with all the science talk is a debbie downer. a grumpy gus, quit being negative and just guess at stuff more...
I really doubt an earthquake would affect the earth's orbit...but they do wank up the rotation speed and axis a bit.
I am not so sure if earth were outside the "habitable zone" that life would simply have adapted differently; we'd be looking at either an iceball or a Venus scenario. The first it's hard to imagine multicellular life evolving in, the second is just simply pure death.
That all aside... The guy who made the ten foot statement is SUCH a tard, and I would love to know where he gets his "facts" from.
But he seems to have a nice chest.
Anyway, the funny irony about loving Science is how I know I'm basically insignificant, but I can still continue with my delusion of feeling special most of the time. (Wait, did I mean Science, or God?)
Facts like the "10 foot" idea are usually found in publications like the "Watchtower" by the Jehovah Witnesses. A reading of it's "science" articles is painfull.
