Execution of a heretic

I like how all the "believers" in this image are candles, with flames on their heads, and appear to be made of wax. The flame they are accustomed to burning is literally burning them up. As it burns, it consumes the wax, which will dwindle away until nothing is left.

An electric light bulb, on the other hand, shines brightly using an external power source. It can shine for hours and hours without ever diminishing or shrinking the "body" that houses it in any way. This heretic has found a way to shine brighter than any of his fellows WITHOUT destroying himself in the process.
