From a programmer's POV the faith algorithm would be very easy to write:

 

Start

Dim Idea as String

Idea = "Whatever"

If ScienceProvesThisWrong = True Then

Idea = "Whatever"

Else

Idea = "Whatever"

End If

End

This sort of argument is annoying to have with those whose logic is formed upon faith. That in itself is a fallacy! All you end up with is feedback loops, biased studies, and circular logic to contend with. And any contradictory facts you can provide have a response of how it's wrong or improper sources (because the burden of proof falls on those that make the claim, amiright?)
