The unholy trinity is a name given to the three authors and atheists Richard Dawkins, Christopher Hitchens and Sam Harris, all of whom are outspoken in their criticism of religion and have sold many books on the subject.
With the visibility in the last few years of the philosopher and atheist author Daniel Dennett, The Unholy Trinity with Dennett included has come to be called The Four Horsemen.
