Monotheism is the belief in a single god or supreme entity. Common themes among monotheistic religions include omniscience, omnipotence, and an infinite presence within all matter and life in the universe. Currently, the three major monotheistic religions in the world are Christianity, Judaism, and Islam, all of which have interconnected origins.
