Is it just me, or is there something wrong with starting a city council meeting with a prayer?  I think this violates the separation of church and state and really don't see the point in it.  It's offensive to me, for obvious reasons - and it seems like a big waste of time.  Maybe this is why nothing productive gets done in this city. http://cityofmacon.net/node/7152
