I will pass on what I think is useful and you can decide it's merit for others. Information leads to increase in knowledge (objective lol). That is all I am about. Another one from the real Imam.
Thanks for reading my post! I enjoyed the links of your writing as well. I haven't had a chance to check out the podcast just yet because I'm in the middle of finals at the moment so time is scarce. I look forward to checking it out in a few days once the chaos of exams is finished. I'll be sure to throw questions your ways if/when they arise.
Cool only saw it in my email today. It is not easy to listen to Craig. I cringe so much I get a headache :-). Maybe he should have followed Harris to Goa, India for a while and dropped a few !
Welp, I'm in the (very long) process of getting a half sleeve. I'm getting birds in pairs, on my arm. I love birds, and I used to go bird watching with my grandmother(even though we don't agree on religion she was a big part of my childhood, and I love her very much) Its just one of the best memories I have had with her, and reminds me of my free spirited childhood..I miss it.
Here's a link to a halfway decent photo of it(my arm was pretty swollen, looked like I was a body builder LOL) Do you have any tattoos? http://i.imgur.com/idTEt.jpg
Thanks! It's really tough to decide on something that will be on you forever, lol. Plus, its expensive! If you see something you like though you should do it :D Its fun!
Can you tell Me how to enter the contest on twitter?
I have a twitter account but Am not active in twitter.
Am active in facebook. You guys can create an active group in facebook. You'll get many people!
Wish I had thought of this one - pet insurance for those animals left behind when their owner get beamed up. Volunteers need to blaspheme against the holy ghost in order to be allowed to mind them. Hahaha. Excellent.
Hi,
I just read (and added to) the discussion on (Inter)National Atheism Awareness Day. I think TA should push this hard with other sites. One thing I noticed was that "www.atheism.org" is not really being used. (It currently forwards to "infidels.org".) "Atheism.org" might be able to be used as a vehicle for uniting the movement.
D'oh, that was quite stupid of me. Thank you for pointing that out-- also, a special thanks for actually reading the "About Me." I usually think those are widely ignored.
Hi Nelson. I belong to a number of educators' groups that highlight social justice issues; they include "Teaching Tolerance," "Teaching for Change," and "Rethinking Schools." Teaching Tolerance shared a link to an article about banned books in Tucson's schools, and it was while reading it that I stumbled across Think Atheist. I don't know how exactly but I think it was referenced in the article or on that page. Anyway I haven't had too much time to read what's hear but I'm interested in what I see so far! Best, Laura
Hey Nelson! I just attended the Think Atheist Baltimore meet up this evening. Morgan, Cara and Robert spoke so highly of you. Thank you for your contributions to this site. I gained much insight tonight and hope to be more involved :)
Thanks for getting this site/service together and running for us all, Nelson! Sorry it's taken me awhile to get in touch with you. you're doing a great job :)
Embarrassingly, I have not had a chance to start any of those books yet. I've been working on writing at least 500+ words each day, so that's been keeping me busy. I also work for a testing company in the testing sector, so you can imagine that this is a very busy time of year for us. I'm sure I'll be done making excuses soon, let me see if I can think of one or two more...
Sooooo... you're saying that you either own a flying DeLorean or a Time-Turner then, yeah? Either that, or you're a robot. How do you find the time to read that many books?!
