If you would like to become familiar with philosophy of religion, I highly recommend William Rowe's Philosophy of Religion: An Introduction followed by John Shook's The God Debates. Both of those are excellent introductions written by atheist philosophers to the debate between theists and naturalists. By the end of reading these books, you will be more literate than 99% of the country. If you want more firepower just against Christianity, you must read (ed) John Loftus' The Christian Delusion.
