- I won’t pray for you. I won’t pray for me. I *will* research, share information, help you find resources in your area, be an ear to bend and a shoulder to cry on. I will share my food if you are hungry, give you used clothes if you need them more, and help you talk to your doctor if you are scared. I will talk to that guy/girl for you if you are too shy, and I’ll protect you if I can. The only thing I ask is that you *don’t* “pray for me” either.

- I live in an area where there aren't many vocal atheists, and it is frustrating having to hold my tongue or have the ones I love take offence.
