- I was confirmed as a lutheran but stopped going after I was confirmed. Kind of did it for my mom. ALways felt as though the whole religion thing was silly and immature, like a fairytale of sorts. I remember one pastor in my little bible study for kids class that I just could not take seriously. Only recently, after being in Guantanamo Bay, did I start to read and learn about the Hitchens,Dawkins, Sagans and so on.
