Ex-fundamentalist, ex-pentecostal, ex-messianic. Was very apprehensive about my deconversion at first (reaction from family and friends), but as time goes by, I am more and more comfortable in my atheism and am just about to the point where I don't care what anyone else thinks.

Why you left your religion.
Couldn't reconcile my understanding of how believers are supposed to conduct their lives with how I saw people living.
Think Atheist Travel Network Couch Availability - Are you able to host anyone now?
Welcome to the Think Atheist community Scott! Join us in the chat on the bottom right of the screen and feel free to ask questions and get involved as much or as little as you want! If you would like to, add me as a friend and I'm also on twitter as RSAnative if you care to follow. Welcome again and make yourself at home!
My father converted to Messianic Judaism when I was about 8 years old. I grew up attending the feasts and holidays of traditional judaism, however I myself have always been either agnostic or atheistic, I do enjoy reading the CJB as to me it touches closer to the root meaning the authors words.
