About Me:

I'm autistic (Asperger's Syndrome) and learning disabled (dyslexia). I also suffer from Major Depression, the chemical variety, which means that the recurrent depressions have nothing to do w/my life's circumstances; I have no control over the depression, though medication does help (some) ... I'm an autodidact - of course, only I could have the patience to teach me! My interests are mathematics and world history. I am teaching myself Latin. I like dogs. My favorite bird is the buzzard. My favorite plant is the cactus. I like classical music. This says something about me, but I'm not sure what it is: I love to watch cooking programs (especially Julia Child), but I'm not at all interested in cooking.

Well, I'm not saying that one must believe in God to be a good catholic; Lord knows, most of the popes were probably atheists, but I'm mentally ill - I'm crazy and have the papers to prove it! - and part of what ails me is an addiction to honesty. I don't believe in God, and I can't pretend that I do, even if the money is good (and, oh, boy, is it!) ...
